Hospitality Manager Added to the Confluence Arts Center Team

The Confluence Arts Center has hired a Hospitality Manager to manage special event sales, front of house management as well as hospitality and food and beverage coordination.

On October 23, 2017, Amy O’Connor joined the Confluence Arts Center team as Hospitality Manager. A graduate of University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in Organizational Communication, she most recently served as Front of House Manager at The Informalist. She happily relocated home after 6 years in the Twin Cities last fall, to be a part of building systems and teams at the downtown farm to table restaurant. Outside of restaurant management, Amy has a wide range of experience in finance, philanthropy, event planning and music. “Eau Claire is such a special place. I am grateful to be a part of this powerhouse team dedicated to the arts and the continued reenergizing of downtown.”

Jason Jon Anderson, Acting Executive Director, said, “I believe Kevin made a great choice in hiring Amy as she is a very talented staff member who brings great experience to the areas of audience and artist hospitality. As the Hospitality Manager she is focused on ensuring that audiences and artists alike each have a positive and memorable experience at the Confluence. I know she will ensure a successful operation that exceeds the budget projections and guest expectations.”

The Confluence Arts Center will offer the community a facility capable of providing transformative training, learning and creative opportunities. Operations are in support of a mission that is focused on augmenting and developing regional education opportunities in the performing and visual arts for people of all ages and backgrounds. The facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2018.
