Pablo Center at the Confluence Welcomes New Staff

Pablo Center at the Confluence hires six new staff members, including Director of Operations

Pablo Center at the Confluence is pleased to announce six new job positions have been recently filled with staff coming from the local level, within the region, and out of state with start dates between August 6 and September 1, 2018. Newly hired positions include: Director of Operations, Project Coordinator, Sales and Booking Manager, Front of House and Box Office Manager, Visual and Literary Arts Manager; and Community Outreach and Workforce Development Manager.

Director of Operations

Jason Harris is the Director of Production and Operations at the Pablo Center at the Confluence. A transplant from Kansas City, he’s married to Michelle and has four kids – Josh, Ginger, Kelly, and Jack – that range from college to elementary-aged. He was previously the Director of Theatre Design/Technology and an Associate Professor at Avila University and Technical Director of the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center; and he’s been working in theatre production the past 25 years.

Project Coordinator

Mark Lundin is the Project Coordinator for Pablo Center at the Confluence. He has worked for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras and as a music educator and clinician. He has taught vocal music in public schools for eight years and is currently on the Governance Board for the Chippewa Valley Montessori Charter School. Lundin is a proud UW-Eau Claire alum and is excited to be a part of our region’s vibrant arts community.

Sales and Booking Manager

Brianna Hotchkiss was trained in production and technical theatre at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She toured with Sesame Street Live in 2006 and worked as the lighting designer and technical jack-of-all-trades for the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre from 2007-2011. Most recently, she was the Production Manager at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center.

Front of House and Box Office Manager

It is with great excitement that Derek Brehm will be returning to the Eau Claire arts community to lead The Pablo Center’s Box Office and Front of House operations. He comes to the Pablo Center with over 10 years of ticketing experience in multiple venues along with 25 years within arts organizations in the Chippewa Valley, Clearwater, Florida, and Madison, WI. Derek earned his MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in 2015. Most recently Derek has been the Box Office Manager with Madison Ticket Agency overseeing ticketing at the Alliant Energy Center, Breese Stevens Field, and multiple other venues in Madison WI.

Visual and Literary Arts Manager

As Director of Visual Arts for the Eau Claire Regional Arts Council, Rose Dolan-Neill has five years’ experience working directly with the arts community in Eau Claire, and close to ten years of contributing to the success of the region’s creative economy by providing excellent leadership at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center. Rose is excited to contribute to the success of the Pablo Center at the Confluence, and to continue her advocacy for the arts in the Chippewa Valley by serving as Visual and Literary Arts Manager for Pablo Center.

Community Outreach and Workforce Development Manager

Dr. Michael Lee is a graduate of UW-Stout, having earned degrees in Career and Technical Education and Business Administration. For the past seven years, he has been serving international students and developing international partnerships while working in UW-Stout’s Office of International Education. Michael is a Returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer (Azerbaijan, 2006-2008).

Executive Director, Jason Jon Anderson, said, “It is with great excitement that we announce and welcome these new staff members to our team. They each bring a passion and expertise to their positions which will only add to the Pablo Center’s staff progress and projects momentum. Being able to attract this incredibly talented staff from around the region and nation highlights the uniqueness of the Eau Claire creative economy and how truly incredible this world class project is. I am so personally enthused to welcome each of them to the team at Pablo Center at the Confluence.”

Pablo Center at the Confluence is scheduled to open its doors to the general public at the grand opening celebration on September 22, 2018. More details will be released in the coming month of August along with the inaugural season release.
