CONFLUENCE HIRES MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Marketing and Communications Manager Brings Non-profit Expertise to the Pablo Center

(Eau Claire, WI, May 2, 2019) – The Pablo Center at the Confluence is pleased to announce that the position of Marketing and Communications Manager has been filled. Stephanie LaBair, a resident of downtown Eau Claire and Pittsburgh native, has started at the Pablo Center.  She brings her experience and talents to the Pablo Center and its team. She has built her career on the idea that creativity and strategy are a symbiotic relationship that can further the mission of a non-profit.

LaBair said, “It has been so exciting to watch Eau Claire’s development and growth over the past several years.  The juxtaposition of the Chippewa Valley’s natural beauty and progressive urban development is exemplified by the Pablo Center.  As a resident and lifelong theater patron, I look forward to being part of strategically driving the growth and brand equity of the Pablo Center both regionally and nationally.”

LaBair’s career has been heavily focused on the non-profit sector, including employment at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. In her most recent position at University of Wisconsin-Stout, she led as Creative and Campaign Manager over the past six years and won a dozen Education Advertisement Awards for her campaigns and designs.  She also has worked for creative agencies in both Pittsburgh and London.  LaBair holds a B.S. in Graphic Communication and Design and is finishing her M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.

The Pablo Center at the Confluence is looking forward to bringing LaBair’s skills to the center and to its community partners, which also include the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

“Stephanie brings a tremendous amount of talent and unique skills to this role.  This first year of the Pablo Center has been exhilarating, with the announcement of our second season coming in June we are so very excited to have Stephanie supervising our Marketing and Communications area.  She is a seasoned professional that will help to see Pablo Center reach the local, national and international clientele we serve,” said Jason Jon Anderson – Executive Director.

After working in higher education and seeing the positive effects of a cohesive, institution-backed marketing plan, LaBair said she is excited to apply the non-profit experience she has gained to a new venture.
