Mechanical
Mechanical
Useful, Worn, Discarded
January 21, 2022 - February 13
Rough and angular, rusted and worn: this exhibit features artwork from Pablo Center’s Laurie Bieze Permanent Art Collection that gives a sense of history, usefulness, and care. Of old things discarded that have been brought back to life.

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
MESSAGE FROM CURATOR ROSE DOLAN-NEILL
Step into a curious room full of useful objects, of interesting artifacts, of mindful experiences that only this machine can provide. One might wonder, what is this tool’s function? One could guess what this machine used to create. How did a human interact with this artifact? What have we learned? One might find themselves pondering their own use of tools, and what devices in our every day lives might be curious to people of the future.
