The Arctic Fox is smaller than the Red Fox that lives here in Wisconsin. The Arctic Fox's white fur coat acts as camouflage to protect against predators and helps it to survive in temperatures of negative 58 degrees below zero!

As climate change becomes worse, the Arctic climate that these foxes thrive in is rapidly disappearing. Different predators are starting to invade their hunting grounds. A similar situation and distrubtions in habitat face other animals that live in the Arctic, like polar bears and harp seals. That why is important to remember that environment friendly actions that we take, such as reusing and recycling, can help to keep the planet and Arctic healthy. That way, all the creatures that we share this world with can continue to thrive!
